We love a new gadget here at Flip!, and those lovely people at Apple keep delivering the goods. This week we seen the launch of some brand new ipods and also a new Itunes store. The runaway success of cheap, flash memory based camcorders like the Flip Mino has seen everyone becoming the next wanna be camera man. With the device being so small and nifty you can take it pretty much everywhere, a bit like your ipod really. So why not bring the two together. Oh what an excellent idea that would be. So Apple went and did it.

The new nano can now not only play music but also shoot video too. There’s a camera on the back and with a 640×480 pixel resolution video and saves it to its internal memory. So no messing about. Its there for when you want it and you can do pretty much what you want with it. Once you’re back at your Pc or Mac, just link it up and either your Pc’s software of Mac’s iPhoto will transfer your video across and even wack them straight on to YouTube with out a problem. If all goes well that is. As its a Apple product we cant see that being a problem can you?

If that was not enough though, Apple have also introduced another addition. There’s now an FM radio tuner built in and you can even pause live radio and pickup right where you left off. A bit like sky plus but with Audio. Thats not the best bit though, If a song you love comes on, you can tag it and then find it on the iTunes store next time you sync.

Oh and if you are a bit of a fitness geek, Apple has also thrown in a built in pedometer making the nano your own personal fitness trainer too. The price for all this isn’t to bad either. With the 8GB version rolling up for just £115 and the 16GB model at £135 music lovers are sure not to be disappointed.

The iPod touch got a bit of an upgrade too, with a  capacity boost taking it up to 64GB in total its hard not to find space for all your music anymore. Unfortunately the Touch is yet to get a camera but we put money on there being one on it by next year.

The shuffle however hasnt recieved an upgrade but its got alot brighter instead. The new shuffle now also comes in blue, green and pink and a super shiny stainless steel limited edition release. The price now drops to just £45 for the 2GB model and a superlow £59 for the 4GB.

All the new models are on sale now, so if you want to see them in action head on down to your nearest Apple store.
