Rusko – Woo Boost + Remix’s

If someone asks me about dubstep there are two artists that I point them towards; the first is the pop remixing genius that is Skream and the second is inventor of bouncy hyped up basslines, Rusko. The latter, originally hailing from Caspa’s Dub Police label, is now living the american dream in LA after riding the initial wave of dupstep, he has been snapped up by Diplo’s Mad Decent crew and finally got round to releasing his much anticipated debut album: O.M.G! (thats the title not my excitement by the way.)

The first single to be released is Woo Boost, a track that actually surfaced around 2 years ago, yet as the track that Annie Mac hyped up and threw Rusko into the limelight it seems a suiting track to showcase the release of his album.

If Annie’s approval wasn’t a good enough reason to go out and buy it, then let’s take a look at the host of tasty remixes that come with it. Sbskrpt’s is possibly my favourite, he’s tweeked it just enough to give it that dance floor hype and even more of a bouncy feel than the track already had!

Douster has completely ripped it up and reinserted it into the Saharan desert which is pretty much what Douster does with everything but trust me it works like a charm.

If your a fan of more industrial dubstep flavours then Borgore has the remix for you, adding some more grit to the song to get you pulling some proper gurns!

Finally we have fellow label mates Toadally Krossed Out have thrown a cheeky dancehall style vibe all over it and like the Subskrpt remix just begs to played at clubs up and down the country.

So there we go, you can pick up the single on; iTunes, Beatport or from the Mad Decent website itself on Vinyl right here: http://maddecent.com/releases/woo-boost
