The UK has a new number one single coming from new guy Iyaz, with his addictive jam Replay! Replay came in the charts last week and went straight in for number one, knocking down Crazy Gaga from her one week reign at number one with her equally addictive Bad Romance.
Gaga wasn’t just knocked down to number two though, as Sidney Samson has moved in to that spot with his new entry Riverside (let’s go) somewhat popular song…not for me though to be honest, but that’s irrelevant. So is Gaga at number 3…nope, that was taken by the amazing-ness of 3OH!3 and Katy Perry with Starstruckk! That leaves her at number 4 right? Yeah number 4 is where that headcase is at this week (sorry to drag it out..ah well).
That takes us to number 5 which is covered by Florence and The Machine with their You’ve Got The Love, which has moved up in the chart world by 8 places! This uplifting song is followed by Journey Don’t Stop Believin’ which has also climbed up in the charts by one place. Chip-diddy-chip is following up closely at number 7 with his amazing Look For Me, another heart warming uplifting happy song by the London rapper.
Ke$ha has now dropped 4 places in the UK charts with her clock and Tik-Tok, maybe her times running out in the top 10…sorry for the pun. Ke$ha must be getting scared though, I mean them 4 or is it 5 ladies from The Saturdays are closing in on this yanks booteh at number 9 with their song Ego, and what a song it is…
Leaving us with the top 10 this week are The Black Eyed Peas wanting us to meet them half way…and just as that facebook group says…I really cant be arsed.
This weeks top 10 album chart is as follows; We have a stayer at number 1 with Paolo Nutini – Sunny Side Up, number 2 is sat with Florence and The Machine with Lungs, Crazy Gaga is at number 3 with The Fame, Subo is at 4 with I Dreamed A Dream, Michael Buble is at number 5, Black Eyed Peas are moving down at number6, number 7 goes to Mumford&sons with Sigh No More, The King Elvis kicks in at number 8, number 9 is Will Young’s number and last but not least is with Muse, I have their album…it’s pretty good, but a little odd at times.
Till next time my friends!
