For the second week running Owl City are still up top keeping the Glee Club from taking over the music charts, as they successfully have done with the tele world. So Glee have the second spot with their addictive Don’t Stop Believin’, pushing Iyaz with his replaying Ipod down into third.
We have a non mover in at number four with the amazing 30H!3 Ft. Katy Perry with Starstrukk. Sidney Samson’s Riverside is also a non mover in the top 10 sticking at number five, keeping them ‘talented’ boys in JLS at bay at number six.
This week we also have Alicia Keys with her take on Empire State Of Mind Part 2, the original makers of Glee’s number two Journey in at number 8, Example have dropped three places with Won’t Go Quietly and topping of the top 10 this week we have the king of hip-hop and one half of the money making couple of 2009, Jay-Z Ft. Mr Hudson with Young Forever, which has climbed three places.
I have to say this weeks top ten singles chart is looking quite alright, even if we do have one song in this chart twice, OK then…
This weeks album charts is looking something like this; we have a new number one album this week, taken by Paolo Nutini with his new album Sunny Side Up, which is followed by Alicia Keys with The Element Of Freedom, which has climbed 6 places, good going Miss Keys! Taking our number three spot is Florence and The Machine with their, was number one album, Lungs, followed by Andre Rieu with Forever Vienna, Lady Gaga is a non mover at five with The Fame.
With the success of the film, The Chipmunks have climbed 16 places to the number six spot, making sure that Mumford&Sons are stopped from climbing anymore. We are now left with the last three, they are; Justin ‘get a life’ Bieber at number 8, Biffy Clyro climbing 4 spaces to number nine and last but not least 18 year old Pixie Lott dropping three places to number 10.
Well thats how the charts are looking this week, hope you enjoyed your update! Next week shall be better!
