Pulling On Public Transit

Lets face it, the live of a student is a some what busy one. What with all that travel to and from University and College, all the late night partying and essays. Its sometimes hard to find time to meet people. This is one of the biggest complaints most people give when confronted about their lack of success when it comes to dating. Its always “I don’t have enough time to meet people” or “By the time ive finished traveling on the bus or train, i dont feel up to going out” The strange but funny thing is though,  Most people overlook the biggest prime dating ground during the day.

Belief it or not, the best place to meet hot guys and girls who actually have some form of personality is not in the pubs and clubs your used to going out on the pull in. No, the best place to meet a beautiful guy or girl who is actually somewhat normal (okay theres the odd freak) is on public transport.

Unfortunatly a lot of people have a number of concerns when it comes to talking to people they’ve never met before in public. Yet really what is the difference from doing that on a bus or train than when your in a nightclub? The only difference is the confidence you think your getting from the booze your drinking.

Public Transport is essentially your nightclub, only the music is piped in through your ipod, the bars closed and it smells of farts…oh so not that different at all really then. Just think of how many different people you get to meet each day using the buses, trains and tubes. Everyone is there completely bored out of their brains (especially on long journeys), and in need of some entertainment to make there day better. This is where you get to your magic.

Pretty much anything you say is better than the boredom people get on there day to day journeys. Here is where you can meet different people everyday and not have to change your plans. The element of surprise is another reason why pulling on public transport is more appealing.

Lets face it, when you meet someone at a club, you always run the risk of them knowing your intentions. Everyone knows the score regardless of what people think. Its been the same way for generations. We get dressed up, we do our hair, girls do their make up. And why? To pull, of course. Girls almost always expect Guys to be hitting on them and Guys go out on the intention of chatting up these girls. However with public transport you get the best of both worlds. On a crowded train or bus  you’re unlikely to give off the sleazy chat-up vibe so why not use this to your advantage?

Its easy to start a conversation naturally by enquiring what the time is, or whether the seat next to them is taken. From this general one liner you can build up to a reason to meet again. From this you then need to find a way to continue the conversation. The best and easiest way to do this is with an observation.

Observations such as you love the way the woman has matched their shoes and accessories, an observation that you’ve seen them everyday so thought you would introduce yourself, or you comment on such a wonderful accent the person has and continue to enquire as to where they are from. Just make sure you actually hear the person speak first.

With all the regional dialects and varied accents around the country this is by far the easiest way to start a lengthy conversation about where they’re from and what they’re doing now.

So now you have a got a conversation going, Why not mention a view places you have been to recently that are nice. This is a great way to get a potential first date. “I went to a lovely Italian place last week, perhaps i could take you sometime”, If this works your on to a winner so get there number. Or why not facebook them?

Thanks to the web, more people are giving there facebook name than there telephone number now.  Most people may hesitate to give you their personal number after a few minutes of chatting. But if they give you there full name or facebook adress you will find they are more than happy to add you, if only to see their friend count go up.

Naturally once you’re added, you can talk your witty charm and conversation from public transport up at your leisure and take your time over planning each and every response without the pressure of wondering what stop there getting off at. The ideal situation is where you find yourself getting off the transport at the same stop. Hopefully after you have just exchanged your info.

Don’t think it’s all over just because you have there number though. Here is your change to keep the conversation going without wondering if there getting of at the next stop. A classic mistake people make is to simply collect the number and run. Why put your self through all that for nothing? Keep the interaction going and show them you’re interested in them as a person, and not just some nutter making idol conversation.

Just think, its much more romantic to say you met your partner at a Bus stop or on the train than in a nightclub.
