In at Number Two this week is ‘Forever Is Over from The Saturdays whilst at Number Three is Jay Z with ‘Empire State Of Mind’. This weeks album chart sees Barbra Streisand knock Paramore of the top with her album ‘Love is the Answer’. Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ remains at Number Two whilst last weeks Number one sits at Number Three. Coffin dodger Cliff Richards climbs up to Number Four with ‘Reunited’ whilst fellow pensior Vera Lynn is at Number Five with ‘We’ll Meet Again – The Very Best Of’.  This weeks Number Six is Jay Z’s ‘Blue Print 3′ whilst at Number Seven is Muse with ‘The Resistance’. Music News this week,

Boyzone star Stephen Gately has died while on holiday in Majorca. Gately who has recently appeared on Dancing On Ice and reunited with other Boyzone members for there comeback tour died in his sleep. Gately who was only 33 Years old came out publicly ten years ago and was one of the first pop acts to do so. He leaves behind a partner whom he married in a civil ceremony in 2006. Louis Walsh the bands manager wont be appearing on XFactor tonight because of his death. It is still unknown how Gately died but we expect to find out soon.

Other news, Shyne has reportedly called P Diddy a liar. Shyne told the Rolling Stones Magazine. “I want it known that this supposed conversation is a figment of Sean Combs’s imagination. This comes shortly after Diddy had revealed in an interview with DJ Absolut last month that two had spoken to one another. Shyne was convicted in 2001 on charges of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession after shooting two people at a New York club in 1999, charges that Diddy was cleared off.

and Finally. REM’s Michael Stipe has said if he could reform any band he would want to reform Slade. Stipe told The Times that Noddy Holder’s outfit were a strong influence on the youth of America in their 1970s heyday. If that was not bad enough, Jay Z’s just told the NME that George Micheal inspired him.

Thats your lot for this week.
